The preliminary master plan for Oyster Point introduces a sustainably driven, 40 acre architectural complex for the biotechnical industry. MSLA was brought on by Shorenstein and SKS prior to the formation of the larger design team to generate the initial planning studies for land swapping discussions with the city of South San Francisco. The design concept employs elemental landscape typologies that stitch together the 12 proposed office buildings and engage connections to the bay. The design navigates a litany of complex environmental issues, including an existing landfill.
