Located on a 10.3 acre site at the intersection of four major neighborhoods, UCSF’s Laurel Heights campus is being transformed into a vibrant mixed use hub over the next decade. In collaboration with multiple developers and architects, MSLA is designing a variety of public spaces that establish strong connections to the existing urban fabric and leverage the site’s resplendent vistas towards downtown San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. The permeability of the site will be greatly enhanced, connecting tenants, residents and the community to programmatically dynamic spaces for gatherings, picnics, sightseeing and a myriad of other activities.
