This unique 240-acre residential property exists outside the village of Paatsalu, Estonia, on the edge of the Baltic Sea. Nestled within a nature preserve, the site is defined by centuries-old stone walls, juniper pine forests, and meadows, but lacked hierarchy and a sense of arrival. A place to retire, the client wanted to gently develop the land with a new residence, a machine shed/guest house, greenhouse, boathouse, and a range of unique destinations that would allow her to contemplate the beauty of nature.
